Meet Delight Renken, LPC
Delight is a licensed professional counselor based in New Braunfels, TX. Over the past 14 years, she has worked with clients to help them overcome obstacles, heal from trauma, and live more fulfilling lives. While she works with individuals and couples dealing with numerous challenges, she is trained in EMDR treatment and specializes in working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, or previous trauma from childhood.

EMDR
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, also known as EMDR, is a targeted therapy treatment that is designed to help individuals heal from traumatic memories and emotional distress. Delight is trained in EMDR and has over 14 years of experience with this protocol.
Individual Therapy
When something unexpected happens in your life, it can be difficult to cope with the stress on your own. Through personalized counseling sessions, you can learn to process your feelings and develop the skills necessary to overcome obstacles in your life. Individual therapy is available for adolescents and adults, ages 14 and up.
Couples Therapy
Therapy isn’t only beneficial for individuals who are struggling. Couples therapy is also an option for those facing relationship challenges that are affecting their daily lives. Delight specializes in couples therapy for those in blended families, co-parenting relationships, and those facing parental alienation.
Childhood Trauma, Depression, & Anxiety
Although Delight helps her clients overcome a wide range of challenges, she specializes in working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, or are dealing with depression or anxiety. It is her goal to help you process through what has happened to you and to help you overcome the obstacles in your life to find fulfillment and achieve overall wellness.
